I) Want + O.P. + Infinitive

The structure want + O. P. + Infinitive is going to be used to help people to avoid a spanglish idea when they want someone else to do something instead of them. It means, it will be applied when we want to get a benefit from somebody. We will have to take into account the way in with it is (affirmative, negative, interrogative), the subject and the grammar tense in which it is, following some grammar rules that we already know.

Examples:

I want you to help me move this weekend.
Quiero que me ayudes a mudarme este fin de sema.

They don’t want Mike to go to the trip.
Ellos no quieren que Miguel vaya al viaje.

Do you want us to explain you the topic again
Quieres que te expliquemos el tema otra vez

Mary doesn’t want her parents to divorce ever.
María no quiere que sus padres se divorcien nunca.

What did you want us to do about it?
Que querías que hiciéramos al respecto.
